geschlossene gesellschaft is an video-photo-soundinstallation about privatized public space.

The video thematizes the relation of time and space. The landscape is a golfsquat with german pensionists, inbetween public and elitarian semi-privacy. The bodies are like actors waiting fpr godot, caught in timecapsules, stuck in invisible loops. The documentary material is digitally manipulated.
The potoserie is about temporary privatization of public space. The emptiness is the mainactor, making visible the power of the representative, that is never shown. The serie was shot during the visits of Bush and Putin in Vienna 2006 and 2007.
