generic sounds is a work experimenting with the hidden structures behind music and information. The functionality of digital data is beiing misused - transformed and recycled as sound. The sound enables to recognize abstract forms of identity of digital data.

An electronic/analogue esemble of 5 voices plays serial compositions. Samples of asian templemusic meet soundscapes of digital synthesizers.

generative pieces for two voices. The sound is developed by shaping a sinuscurve, which is triggered by barcodenumbers. Different algorithmes transform and destroy the sound, the more often a code is played.
